What is a Creative Session?

Our Creative Sessions are a hands on experience where you can create a custom candle, fragrance, body butter, body oil or lip gloss.

Will my new custom product be ready to take home immediately?

Fragrance, lip gloss, body butter & body oil products are ready to take home immediately.

Candles do require a cooling time of at least 1 hour before they're ready to take home. While waiting for your candle, you can visit local restaurants/shops or come back another day to pick up your finished candle. 

What kind of ingredients will we use during Creative Sessions?

We use our own proprietary formulas that are comprised solely of vegan, cruelty free, plant-based, nontoxic & premium ingredients. We blend each body care base in our studio in small batches (we never used pre-mixed bases for our sessions). 

If you have allergies, please notify our team via email at info@theacobrand.com to specify any accommodations that are needed. 

Will we create products from scratch in Creative Sessions?

No, our sessions do not involve using raw materials & blenders to create products from scratch. Each session will include our brand's signature formula that has been mixed by our team, ready for your customizations. If you're interested in a from scratch blending experience, simply let us know & we can provide additional options if available. 

Who can attend your Creative Sessions?

Our sessions are for adults, children 5+ and groups. Many people wonder if men attend our sessions - yes, men are always welcome!

Do I have to have a reservation or do you allow walk-ins?

Reservations are strongly encouraged. We do allow walk-ins, however we are unable to guarantee a seat for walk-ins. If you decide to walk-in, please anticipate at least a 15 minute wait to allow our team to check you in & set up your creative materials. 

How do I book a Creative Session?

What's the vibe in your Creative Sessions?

Our sessions are a relaxing, fun, creative & welcoming vibe. 

Do I need any prior experience to participate?

No experience is necessary! Our sessions are led by creative experts who will provide full instructions to create your masterpiece. 

How long do sessions last?

Sessions last for 1 hour - it's possible that you'll finish before then. You're welcome to socialize, play games or shop our retail section to fill the time. 

Do I need to bring anything with me?

No - your session includes all creative materials. 

Can I make more than one product during the session?

Yes! You can add more than one type of product blending to your online booking - or you can add additional products to your session once you arrive. 

Can I bring food & drinks to my session?

Yes, you can bring drinks & small snacks to your session (large food trays & elaborate meals are permitted during private events only). There are also coffee shops, bars & restaurants nearby where you can grab food & drinks once you're finished. 

Do you offer private events or group bookings?

Yes! We host private events in our studio & off-site. View all private event info here.

If you're meeting up with a group during a normal creative session, simply have each person book a seat during the same session.  Leave a note on your bookings stating that you'd like to be seated together. 

Do you offer pre-made products if I don't want to blend my own?

Yes! We have a retail section in the studio where you can purchase our collection of candles, body products & gifts. You can also shop our full collection online here. 

What happens if I'm late for my session?

Sessions will begin on time. We do allow a 10 minute grace period. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late - you are still able to join to create during the remainder of the session. Session times will not be extended to accommodate late arrivals.

What is your cancellation & refund policy?

Once bookings are finalized, we do not allow cancellations or refunds. We do allow 1 reschedule if we are notified before your session start time. No shows will result in your session being forfeited.
